Dresser in Holts Summit
I posted this earlier, but the post disappeared into the ether. Weird!
But here it is, a dresser in Holts Summit for $15. And it looks mighty interesting to me!
Those handles look rather art deco, though I could be wrong. And it looks like it has clean lines. But it also looks like it’s in rough shape. And it’s not a very good photo, so it’s hard to know what’s for real and what’s just a trick of the flash.
But $15! I use a similar lowboy dresser to hold my television in the living room. It has tons of storage space, and it can hold a heavy tube television with other electronics and a lamp. Media cabinets often have very ugly styling, so it’s important to be creative when you’re trying to find the right solution for your television next to your mid-century furniture.
I replaced the hardware on mine (which is a 1960s style piece) with hardware from Rejuvenation. (The Saturn knob with the star backplate, and they look so great! Someday I’ll post some pictures.)
Holts Summit is between Fulton and Jefferson City, about 40 minutes from Columbia.
Here’s the link: Long dresser.
